I’m so excited to share these best practices for your Single Case Rate appeal with you.
Click here to watch my Facebook LIVE about the webinar: Insurance Webinar Video Nov 2017
This webinar is pay what you feel it is worth.
After you watch it, Paypal me what you think it was worth to you.I do not make any money on this webinar, but I do need to cover hosting and admin costs.
Required Reading Update:
I consider Laurie Todd to be my mentor – even though I have never met her! She is “The Insurance Warrior” and I feel like everything I learned, I learned from her. You must buy her book “Approved: How to Win Your Appeal in Five Days”, and read it before you file your appeal. It will give you so much hope and actionable items as well to incorporate with your letter. It also explains why insurance companies are the way they are, which is important for your sanity in this process.
Consulting
I now offer consulting to a limited amount of endometriosis patients on how to get your insurance to pay and navigating the endometriosis journey. Go here to learn more.
UPDATES:
- I no longer recommend asking for a peer-to-peer review — you will see why when you read the book. They are no longer actual clinical peer-to-peer conversations with doctors, just another vehicle for denial at insurers.
- Please see the BGSE April 2018 excision study below. This is a massive piece of clinical research that speaks to the evidence-based effectiveness of excision surgery.
- If you are wondering if you can use these principles for an appeal post-surgery the answer is yes you can. Just remove the language about Single Case Agreement and replace it with appeal.
- I will be updating the webinar with new information as I learn more.
Before you listen to, or watch the recorded seminar, download the following materials:
- Bad Periods Treatment Guide: will give you some steps to track your symptoms so that you can translate them into clinical terms for for your doctor and an excision surgeon directory >>TREATMENT GUIDE<<
- Sample letter: This is the core of your case and is the hardest thing to put together so I did it for you. Fill in your insurance info, and all the particulars on your case here. >>SAMPLE LETTER<<
- Sample letters from Primary Care Physician, Ob-gyn and Surgeon: >>SAMPLE LETTER PRIMARY<< >>SAMPLE LETTER OB-GYN<< . >>SAMPLE LETTER SURGEON<<

If you have any questions, please feel free to email me. I will be doing group calls going forward to ask specific questions.
And, finally, here’s a survey. Please do fill it out if you have time, because feedback is so important for continuous improvement and because the more information we can take to insurance companies, the better for all endo patients. >>SURVEY<<
